“ This place rocks, not only because there's nothing like it in the area but because it's so damn tasty! The meats are always delicious and the katsu always crunchy! ”
“ Had not cane in a while, so didn't know until just now that they changed owners and name. It is now called Panda Bento. And it is still delicious! I attached a photo of the menu. I ordered the regular bento box with the cajun shrimp. My husband ordered the large bento box with bbq chicken and bbq beef. We also ordered the karaage. Everything was so so good. And food was more than enough, we brought most of it home Will be back soon ”
“ Joy Hawaiian Barbecue, and the experience was delightful. The flavors were well-blended, offering a unique Pacific Islander twist on fusion cuisine. The food tasted different in a good way--distinct and flavorful. My order arrived very hot, which enhanced the overall enjoyment. Each bite was a pleasant surprise, combining familiar tastes with an exotic flair. The dishes were well-prepared and satisfying. I really enjoyed the food and would recommend it to anyone looking for a fresh take on traditional barbecue. Overall, it was a pretty good experience, and I look forward to ordering from them again. ”
“ Date: 1/26/24 Was craving Hawaiian food and didn't want to leave the house with the two babies so decided to grub hub some food. Looked through the list and just went with the first option because it looked good already. 1. BBQ Chicken, Beef & Katsu Combo (13.99$) - Saw it was only a dollar more for another protein so of course I had to get this one. The chicken was probably my favorite of the three. Very juicy and soft. Love that they don't shiest on the protein. My toddler loved the katsu and the bbq chicken! Beef was more on the chewy side so it was harder to eat for the kids but i enjoyed it. 2. BBQ Chicken & Short Ribs Combo (14.99$) - The short ribs were amazing!!! It went by so fast and I really wanted more. Again the BBQ Chicken was really good. Definitely recommend this combo! An amazing first experience not to mention so incredibly CHEAP!!! Can't wait to come back and try everything else! ”
“ This restaurant is an excellent little eatery! The food is SO delicious and tastes properly homemade, and the service was perfect - kind, attentive, yet this place is not a "sit down" restaurant per se. Fantastic and can recommend the BBQ combo and the spam musubis ”
“ Excellent spot. We used Uber Eats and everything was packed well. We tried a few Hawaiian BBQ combos including the beef, bbq chicken, and crispy fish, as well as the shrimp fried rice. Everything was really tasty. I got 2 scoops of mac salad & 1 rice, and the sides were great as well. Fairly priced and good portions, too. Definitely recommended if you live in the area. ”
“ This has been on our list of places to try for a while and we were in the area the other day to finally try it! It's rare to come across a good Hawaiian BBQ place other than the usual chains like L&L and Q&Q. Even those are rare around here and far from each other. This place is a tiny hole in the wall with the tiniest parking lot. We got in and the inside was muggy with maybe 2 or 3 tables with empty seats. We placed an order for take out and I ended up also getting an extra shrimp fried rice for free since we ordered over $20 worth! It's a Yelp check in redeem so be sure to get it! The food came out super quick and we went home to enjoy it. Absolutely delicious! We tried a bit of everything and really loved it. The chicken was super juicy and the beef was perfectly sliced and seasoned. Star of the show for sure was the Mac salad. I love a good Mac salad and they perfected it. I wish I ordered extra because it's definitely not enough! Looking forward to coming back to support this local eatery. IG: @ammysalamii ”
“ Good portions for a tasty Hawaiian + Cajun cuisine. Parking can be tight, there's a busy Dominos on the same mini strip mall that can be busy in the evenings. Don't forget to Yelp check in! We came here a while back and thought the quality was a bit better than some of the "chain" Hawaiian food places. The interior is unassuming I think they're more set up for the pickup/delivery crowd but they do have some seating. We got the Hawaiian BBQ mix and Crispy Mix. The Hawaiian BBQ has bbq chicken, bbq beef, and kalbi short ribs. The Crispy has katsu chicken and crispy shrimp. They come on a bed of lettuce and two scoops of rice and a scoop of macaroni. The amount of rice is small compared to other places but I think it's a good volume. Macaroni is tasty. The bbq plate is flavorful. It comes with teriyaki sauce in ramekins but I think it doesn't need more sauce. The crispy plate comes with sweet and sour sauce and katsu sauce. I think they help, as the meats are still juicy and crispy but the sauce will make it soggy. Come check the place out. ”
